The following crazy and wacky week in the NFL, and subjects in the last year came into play in Week 2 in the NFL. Most importantly, big favorites covering such as Baltimore and Cincy, and even Seattle laying a number after a week that they failed to score a TD, and all covered the amount, bringing back shades of past year when double-digit favs covered a slew of games, a rarity in the NFL. There were 5 teams preferred by double digits this weekend. Most teams are in re building periods, once we have 10 new head coaches this past season, therefore I hope to see higher numbers on the lines and also some blow-outs this season due to such teams and changes in simplifying modes. Here are some takes from last week to contemplate.
GREEN BAY- How do you blow a 13-0 รับพนันบอล next quarter lead to the Saints, in home, and lose in a shoot out? No defense first of all and absence of ability all around. Brett Favre is apparently grabbing a ton of blame, but the cupboards are bare, and especially on defense where Drew Brees shredded them all day together with sub par flat receivers. This is a team that should begin rebuilding, but QB Favre is never to blame, but he played a higher level, but mightnot at age 36 take this team without assistance, however he gives them a greater chance at winning more than Aaron Rodgers. Bottom line, a go against team, particularly against high powered offense’s with receivers that are good.
CAROLINA- Still another debacle this weekend to Carolina, that had any injury issues coming into Minnesota, but as per week, turnovers, special teams blunders (a huge momentum killer on Sunday), and missed chances have been apparent. They get Tampa Bay this weekend, so who is also experiencing problems at QB, and letting Brian Gresie visit sit down on the bench at Chicago has been a bad mistake from Gruden, as Chris Simms is only lacking confidence and can be pushing the ball into coverage, also it has been under a tremendous pass rush all around season. A tale of 2 teams bad that this Sunday, should really be interesting to say the least. Carolina has been their own worst enemy.
The airborne series was stellar, they have an excellent 1-2 punch at RB with Jones and Benson, and also QB Grossman has become true and heady from the pocket in addition to rolling out, and also the shield is better than last years at this point, however together with wins against lowly Green Bay and Detroit, lets see just how good they’re against a few tight competitions before we anoint them Kings of their NFC.
NEW YORK GIANTS- Eli Manning proved his worth in a thrilling come from behind win at Philly in OT last year Sunday. Do not rule out the Giants in the NFC being a major contender, that were a playoff team this past year, even though they have been in a tough division that can see 2 teams outside from those 4 at the playoffs. Losing per week 1 to big brother Peyton wasn’t any shame, the Colts are the one of the greatest AFC teams around. Possessing the confidence to lead his team back from the 247 mark at the 4th quarter, to the road, against an outstanding team like the Eagles will go a very long way at New York. Their 12 punch in RB, and superior recipients, and better than average defense with very good rush finishes, makes the Giants a rival here, as Dallas in mind is over rated and Washington is going to be a bottom-feeder annually on offense it looks like as of this time. Catching Seattle about the road that this week is just a tall order in back to rear roadies, but they’re having fun playoff revenge and also have the better offense, as Seattle have not yet established the kind of running match an crime they has this past year as of yet. Deon Branch creates his debut Seattle on Sunday, and right now they need him!
I adore this weeks card and fully expect an enormous Sunday as I see some things I think that the oddsmakers over looked, also I will expose it big style this Sunday. Read between the lines here and you might do well yourself.
